Built around a spare, almost minimalist arrangement that gives RM's voice room to be genuinely playful — a quality often buried under the philosophical weight of his more ambitious work. "Bicycle" is light without being shallow, finding joy in physical experience as a form of presence: the specific freedom of cycling through a city, wind, momentum, the body doing something simple and good. The production deliberately references 70s pop sunshine with zero irony, and somehow this works perfectly. As a document of what RM sounds like when not trying to say anything important, it becomes unexpectedly revealing — the ease of movement in both the cycling and the music itself capturing something true about happiness at its most uncomplicated.
