YOUNG POSSE's track is built around a jagged, percussive backbone of snapping hi-hats and a bass that sits low and wide in the chest, punctuated by brief moments of relative silence that make the drops land harder. There's a deliberately lo-fi texture to certain elements, as if recorded through cracked glass, which gives the track an underground authenticity despite its polished construction.
