Where the duo's early work leaned on wry, sometimes bawdy humor, this one sheds the jokes entirely. The fingerpicking is close-mic'd enough that you hear string noise, and any additions come in late and quiet: a bit of low end, a wash of reverb widening the space rather than filling it. Kwon's voice is unmistakable — thin, slightly nasal, cracking at the edges when he pushes — and that fragility does more emotional work than a technically better singer could manage here. Loneliness, the title, is treated not as crisis but as a condition you live inside and eventually stop naming. The lyric works in small domestic details rather than declarations, which is the Korean indie-folk tradition at its best: no grand gestures, just the accumulated evidence of an empty apartment. 10cm occupy a rare position, an indie act with genuine mainstream reach in Korea, and that access lets a song this quiet find people who need it.
