This is emotion as architecture: verses that smolder, a pre-chorus that tightens the chest, and a chorus that detonates into full-throated anguish. The lyric is pure longing and loss — searching everywhere and finding the beloved nowhere, the impossibility of moving past someone who has vanished from every place you look. The production is lush and dramatic, unafraid of melodrama because melodrama is the point; this is the sound of feeling something completely, without irony or restraint. It belongs to the lineage of songs Koreans reach for at the noraebang to scream out heartbreak, and to the soundtrack of countless dramas where it underscores a final, tearful parting. Heard on headphones after a breakup, it doesn't soothe so much as validate, giving shape and grandeur to grief that otherwise has nowhere to go.
