"Hajde da se volimo" (roughly "Come, Let's Love Each Other") is a glossy artifact of Serbian turbo-folk in its formative bloom, recorded when Ceca was barely out of adolescence and already being shaped into the genre's reigning queen. The production fuses Balkan folk ornament — oriental melisma, snaking minor-key runs that lean East — with the synthetic sheen of early-1990s drum machines and keyboards, a collision that defined the era's restless, post-Yugoslav dance floors. Ceca's voice is the centerpiece: girlish yet already capable of that wide, throaty vibrato and the curling decorative phrasing that would become her signature.
