The OST-scale ballad that gave Wanna One's short life its emotional center, "Beautiful" is where the group stopped sprinting and finally breathed. The arrangement builds in classic Korean cinematic-pop architecture — solitary piano figure, strings entering under the second verse, a drum break that hits at the bridge like a door thrown open — and the whole thing is mixed with a lot of reverb and air, so the vocals feel like they're standing in a large empty room.
