"DASH" is NMIXX at their most legible, and the group treats that legibility as its own kind of stunt. After a run of songs built on abrupt genre splices, this one commits to a single rushing forward motion: a big-room synth line stacked over a stomping four-on-the-floor pulse, brass-like stabs, and a chorus that lands on the title like a starting pistol. The production leaves air between hits, so the low end punches instead of smearing. Vocally the group's strongest weapon shows itself — Lily and Haewon's belted upper register cutting clean through the mix while Bae and Jiwoo handle the percussive rap sections with a clipped, consonant-forward attack that keeps the rhythm moving. Lyrically it's a sprint metaphor without much irony: outrun doubt, outrun the noise, get to the line first. Coming from a group publicly typecast as "difficult," the straightforwardness reads as a rebuttal — proof they can win on the conventional field too.
