Yours (슬기로운 의사생활 OST)

"Yours" is Jin's ballad for the *Jirisan* soundtrack, and it's built to serve a drama about people who go up a mountain and don't always come down. The production is deliberately unhurried: solo piano opening, strings entering by inches, a rhythm section that stays almost entirely out of the way until the final chorus swells and then recedes. It never rushes to a hook, because K-drama OST ballads are load-bearing — the song has to hold a scene's grief without narrating it. Jin's vocal is the draw here, all clean, unornamented mid-range with a slightly nasal warmth, and the restraint is the performance: he holds notes level where a showier singer would run them, saving his upper register for two or three moments that then land like weather changing. The lyric is a vow of belonging offered to someone who may already be gone — a promise to be theirs regardless of whether they can hear it. Its context is specifically Korean: the OST as a parallel career track, where a ballad can chart independently and carry a show's emotional memory for years.
