Everything about this piece is deliberate restraint. An arpeggiated clean guitar pattern repeats with almost meditative consistency — not looping in the electronic sense, but played, slightly imperfect, human in its steadiness. The tone is warm without being soft, intimate without being confessional. There are no drums for long stretches, no distortion, no crescendo toward catharsis.
