There's an irrepressible lightness to this piece that feels almost like the physical sensation of stepping outside after days of rain. The rhythm section leans on a mid-tempo groove with folk percussion layered beneath it — dhol and dholak giving it an earthy pulse while synths float above like heat shimmer. Rahman's production here is characteristically layered without ever feeling cluttered: each instrument has space to breathe, and the mix allows you to hear the arrangement shift and evolve as the song moves forward. The vocal performance at the center is warm and conversational — there's none of the operatic restraint common to formal classical-influenced film music, and instead a quality of someone speaking freely, joyfully, from inside an emotion rather than performing it.
