Where "We Like to Party!" is an announcement, "Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!" is a demand — a relentless, propulsive piece of late-90s Eurodance built around one of the era's most instantly recognizable chord sequences, played on synthesizers with the tonal quality of a toy keyboard that somehow ended up in a professional studio and nobody stopped it. The male-female vocal interplay gives the track a call-and-response energy that functions as conversational flirtation compressed into two-and-a-half minutes, the lyrics describing a mutual romantic proposition with the emotional complexity of a text message and approximately the same effectiveness.
