After the emotional devastation of Homura, Shirogane recalibrates. The Entertainment District arc demanded something more kinetic, and this opening delivers exactly that: a driving rock track with a near-frantic tempo, bass lines that pulse like a heartbeat pushed to its limit, and a guitar arrangement that feels ceremonial and martial simultaneously. "Shirogane" means silver-white, and there is something metallic in the texture of the production — bright, hard, reflective rather than warm. LiSA's vocal performance leans back toward the Gurenge school of controlled aggression, but with more ornamental flexibility, particularly in the pre-chorus where her phrasing becomes almost conversational before snapping back into power. The song's emotional argument is about the cost of beauty — the Entertainment District arc, with its glamour layered over violence, makes that subtext explicit, but the music conveys it without explanation. It is music for people who already know it will be hard, and are going anyway. A soundtrack for the second wind, not the first.
