Communication stripped to its most elemental — signal and silence, pattern and pause. The track is built around an obsession with rhythm as language, the drum programming laid out in sequences that suggest deliberate transmission rather than groove for groove's sake. There's something almost mechanical in the precision, but Roni Size's production never turns cold: the textures breathe, the bass has warmth, and beneath the mathematical architecture something more emotional hums. The arrangement moves in pulses and intervals, sections that open and compress, giving the track a quality of urgency and secrecy simultaneously. It feels encoded — as if meaning is being passed in the spaces between beats, and the listener is being asked to decode rather than simply receive.
