Terry Hall and Neville Staple trade vocal duties — one deadpan, one more animated — creating a dialogue between exhaustion and aggression that mirrors the song's subject: the music industry as protection racket, artistic integrity as a thing men in suits will always try to own. The track operates as both stylistic manifesto and political statement simultaneously, establishing 2-Tone as a genuine movement rather than a novelty.
