"Vicious Delicious" is the album and the ethos distilled into a single piece of organized mayhem — a track that swaggers where most psytrance merely stampedes. The production here is almost perversely layered, stacking acidic synth lines, crunching distortion, and oddly funky rhythmic accents into something that shouldn't cohere but absolutely does. Infected Mushroom evolved significantly by the time this title track emerged, incorporating rock sensibilities and hip-hop swagger into their electronic foundation, and nowhere is that synthesis more confident. The tempo is ferocious but the groove underneath it is almost cocky — there's a strutting quality to the low end that makes the aggression feel celebratory rather than threatening.
