DPR IAN's sensibility is more overtly psychedelic and kaleidoscopic than LIVE's, and this track leans into that fully. The production blooms — layers of synthesizer arranged in ascending spirals, percussion that feels less rhythmic anchor and more texture, vocal harmonies that multiply and diffuse until IAN's voice becomes part of a larger atmospheric wash. There's a cinematic quality to the arrangement, the kind of sound design that suggests wide open visual spaces: neon-soaked skylines, slow motion, the quality of light through glass. IAN's vocal approach is warmer and more melodically adventurous than many of his DPR collaborators, and here he lets himself float freely above the instrumental, more interested in tone and feeling than in lyrical precision. The song is essentially a portrait of rapture — the overwhelming quality of beauty encountered in another person, and the slightly disorienting way it reorganizes your perception of everything else. It's not subtle about this, but the excessiveness suits the subject. It works particularly well through headphones at volume, where the spatial depth of the production can properly expand.
