Aimer does something unusual here: she fuses two emotional registers that normally resist each other, the brittle delicacy of her upper register and a low, almost husky undertow, and lets them coexist without resolving into one. The production on this dual-title track is lush but precise, strings and electronic shimmer layered with the patience of someone who knows that restraint does more work than saturation. The Wistoria connection grounds it in a fantasy-epic emotional vocabulary — longing, distance, the particular ache of watching something magnificent from outside it — but the track transcends that context immediately.
