There is a machine running somewhere beneath the surface of HAAi's "Motorik," and it has been running for a very long time. The track draws its heartbeat from krautrock's founding obsession — that metronomic, mid-tempo pulse Neu! and Can called the "Apache beat," a rhythm that doesn't so much drive forward as simply continue, indifferent to arrival.
