Where the lullaby of his previous work suggested something terrestrial and nocturnal, this one lifts entirely off the ground. The opening minutes establish a sense of gravitational departure — the low-end frequencies roll in slowly, like the ignition sequence of something enormous, and then the track begins to genuinely move. Sangiuliano's approach here is almost architectural: he stacks harmonic elements the way a composer layers orchestral voices, each frequency band occupying a distinct register with clinical precision. There is a warmth buried deep in the mix, a pad or possibly a processed strings sample, that provides just enough organic material to keep the track from feeling purely mechanical. The rhythm itself shifts between states — rigid and then subtly swung, driving and then briefly suspended — giving the listener repeated moments where time seems to dilate. The emotional character is expansive and awe-adjacent, the feeling of watching something vast from a great distance with no particular threat attached. It recalls the post-Detroit continuum of cosmic techno, the lineage that runs from Underground Resistance through Nina Kraviz's more expansive work, though Sangiuliano's production palette is distinctly Italian in its cleanliness and compositional seriousness. This is music for the exact moment a set reaches its peak altitude, when the crowd has fully released the week behind them and exists only in the present tense of the sound.
