Arithmophobia

"Arithmophobia" — the fear of numbers — is an ironic title for a band whose music is built on numerical complexity. This track from Animals as Leaders leans into the band's cleaner, more melodic side, deploying arpeggiated figures that shimmer with almost classical patience. The interplay between Abasi and Reyes feels more conversational here than confrontational, trading melodic fragments that build on each other organically.
