"Pulso" (Pulse) foregrounds its structural metaphor from the first measure: the pulse itself, the basic rhythmic fact of music and life, isolated and examined. Bajofondo strips the arrangement to essentials — the beat, a bass movement, slowly accumulating elements — and the effect is meditative despite the rhythmic drive.
