"wave [1]" by Wave to Earth is both origin point and thesis statement — the first in the series that names the band itself, and the track that most explicitly articulates what the wave metaphor means for them. Water as mood, as approach, as way of moving through the world: persistent without being aggressive, shaped by whatever it meets, always returning.
