"Dreamy" does exactly what its title promises, though the word barely contains the texture of what Adoy creates here. The track inhabits a gauzy, suspended space where the production values imprecision as much as precision — reverb trails extend until they become part of the ambient environment, drum patterns leave satisfying gaps, and the melodic content blooms slowly from an initial haze of texture. The guitar work recalls the best of 90s dream pop but recontextualizes it in a contemporary K-indie frame, stripping away irony and replacing it with something more genuinely wistful. The vocals carry a conversational warmth that keeps the dreaminess grounded; this is not the aloof cool of shoegaze but something more approachable and emotionally legible.
