The title track and manifesto of Scott's genre theory, this piece audibly practices what his liner notes preach: jazz as an infinitely elastic vessel absorbing any contemporary influence without losing structural integrity. His trumpet — with its characteristic muted intimacy and occasional pedal-processed grit — moves through melodic phrases that quote trap's rhythmic vocabulary without submitting to it. The rhythm section shifts time signatures fluidly, sometimes landing squarely, sometimes fragmenting into half-spoken patterns borrowed from hip-hop production.
