The title "있잖아요" is itself a hesitation — the Korean phrase meaning roughly "you know" or "listen," the verbal throat-clearing before something important is said. Lee So-ra builds the entire song around that threshold feeling: the moment before confession, when the words exist somewhere between the chest and the mouth and have not yet committed to becoming sound. Her voice is almost breathed rather than sung in the opening bars, barely rising above the piano, which moves in slow, unresolved progressions. The arrangement never quite settles; a delicate violin line appears and retreats without completing its thought. Lyrically the song circles its subject rather than stating it — something is felt, something wants to be said, and the gap between those two states is where the entire emotional terrain lives. It suits the experience of loving someone without knowing if they know, of carrying a feeling that has grown too large for silence but feels too fragile for words.
