"JU$T" constructs an anti-capitalist cathedral out of genuinely unlikely materials — Pharrell Williams delivering one of his most hauntingly minimal hooks, Zack de la Rocha appearing for a verse of incandescent controlled fury, El-P and Killer Mike wrapping it all in production that samples or evokes soul tradition while pushing something considerably darker. The track functions as a structural analysis of racial capitalism, but its genius is that it makes the analysis feel urgent and personal rather than theoretical — each verse approaches the argument from different emotional angles, arriving at the same conclusion through distinct routes. Pharrell's hook repeats a single instruction with the insistence of a mantra slowly revealed to be a trap — look at all these slaves making minimum wage. De la Rocha's verse is everything his Rage Against the Machine fans missed during his long absence — focused rage delivered with the technical precision of someone who never stopped thinking carefully about exactly what he wanted to say.
