The production is distinctive: bright, melodic, almost cheerful in its harmonic content despite addressing serious themes, with immaculate mixing and a sonic consistency that reads as genuine artistic vision rather than trend-chasing. Both artists deploy the contrast between their voices deliberately — RAF Camora's melody-forward delivery against Bonez MC's harder verse style creates dynamic variation throughout. The plastic palms of the title are explicitly artificial — manufactured paradise, the critique of aspirational culture embedded in its most celebrated symbol. The project documents contemporary European immigrant experience, ambition, disillusionment, and the specific absurdity of the luxury trap aesthetic with genuine intelligence beneath the glossy surface.
