"Remember" is the shortest and strangest thing on Moon Safari, a two-and-a-half-minute vocoder ballad that sounds like a machine trying to be tender and almost succeeding. The entire lead vocal is run through a talkbox-style processor until the words blur into a metallic hum; you catch the sentiment more than the syllables, a plea to be remembered delivered by something that may not be able to remember anything itself.
