"MY WORLD" opens aespa's 2023 mini-album like a curtain rising on an opera — a grand, theatrical intro track that announces its universe with maximalist ambition. It begins almost a cappella, layered vocal harmonies stacking into a choral swell before orchestral strings and crashing electronic production detonate beneath them, the SM Entertainment "SMP" tradition of bombastic, near-symphonic pop pushed to a cinematic extreme. There are no verses in the conventional sense; the structure is movement-like, building tension and release as the members' voices weave through a soundscape designed to feel vast and otherworldly.
