Four Tet reaches into the archive and returns with a fragment of jazz vocal — warm, aged, slightly cracked at the edges — and builds an entire emotional world around it. The sample is chopped and phased, never played straight, so the voice becomes a texture as much as a presence, a human warmth distributed through the track's structure. Percussion ticks along with the light touch of someone thinking, not insisting. There are piano notes that appear and vanish like afterthoughts.
