LITE
Where the previous entry lives in anticipation, this one arrives with velocity. The opening phrase has a coiled quality, a guitar line that seems to test its own tension before releasing into a driving section that locks drums and bass into something almost percussive in its rigidity. LITE know how to make tightness feel physical — this track has the kinetic signature of something being aimed rather than simply played. The rhythm section functions less as foundation and more as pressure, constantly narrowing the space the guitar occupies until the melody has to find a way through the compression. There are moments of release, brief openings where the texture clears, but they function as breath between exertions rather than genuine resolution. The emotional register is determination edged with something harder, not quite aggression but its close neighbor. This is music for motion: for navigating a crowded city block at pace, for the final push of a run when the body has already decided it is done.
