Fujiwara's vocal here has a softness to it that feels deliberately scaled down, as if the song is aware of its own intimate intentions and doesn't want to disturb anything. The planetarium setting is precise and evocative: a darkened room, projected stars, two people in proximity without certainty about what the proximity means. The song captures a specific kind of feeling that is difficult to translate directly — the suspended quality of a moment you recognize as significant while it is still happening, the desire to preserve it against the knowledge that preservation is impossible.
