That contemporary production against a Goryeo-era palace drama shouldn't work, but it does, because the song isn't scoring the costumes — it's scoring the interiority, the modern feeling of wanting someone to just say yes already. Loco's verses are conversational and a little shy, closer to speaking than performing, with the rhythmic looseness that made him a favorite from the *Show Me the Money* generation; Punch answers with a chorus that opens up into open vowels and English phrasing, the title landing as a plea rather than a demand. The lyric essence is the unbearable gap between having decided and having said it out loud.
